Scott pilgrim vs. the world
The film starts with the Universal logo, this is to show the producers of the film. This happens in all films. So I would have to put it into my film.
This next clip is from the begging of the film, it starts of on its own background but becomes part of the footage. This looks better and saves time. It also gives you some information about the film and what is going on. This is so less time needs to go into explaining what is happening.
This is a close up shot on Scott Pilgrims face. The lighting is darker in the background but there is a stronger light on his face, this makes the audience eyes attracted to the character. There is also a text box imposed next to the character. This makes the film look like in the style of a comic book. This is done because the film is based on the manga of Scott Pilgrim. It also gives the idea of a game. This is done on purpose, because its target audience is gamers.
There is an extreme close up of the mouth and microphone; this allows the audience to see that the character is singing. The background is out of focus, which makes the audience only pay attention to the singing. There is also writing imposed onto the screen. This gives the film the style of a comic book. The writing is super imposed on the screen.
The camera then starts to zoom out from the characters, and the titles are shown on the carpet. This makes the titles more interesting for the viewer.
