Kidulthood

This is a medium-close up shot. This type of shot allows you to see the expression on the characters face. It also allows the audience to see what action is going on. Seeing as this film is a drama film, the use of this camera angle allows the audience to build up suspense as they are worried for the character that they have been following.

This is a close up shot of the character's face. Due to the close up you are able to see the emotional expression on the face. His hoodie being up gives a threatening feel to the character. This emotionally ties the audience into fearing what the character will do. This shot also gives the impression of existentialism, I would like to try and use a similar shot to get a similar message across in my film.

This is a medium-close up shot. It is also a slight over the shoulder shot. This allows you to have a view of what the character is seeing. It also allows you to see the emotion on the other character's face. This shot is normally used when there is a conversation between people. I would like to use this type of shot in my film, as I think it is effective.
